About the job

Develops and validates low-level firmware for deterministic, real-time control and communication across humanoid robot platforms.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain EtherCAT firmware for motion-control nodes, including synchronization and safety mechanisms.
  • Tune RTOS scheduling and optimize interrupt and DMA paths to meet timing and latency targets.
  • Validate firmware with unit, HIL, and integration tests; support hardware bring-up and document results.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Robotics.
  • 2+ years of embedded firmware development for real-time control systems.
  • Experience with microcontroller firmware across ARM Cortex-M or similar architectures, RTOS, and low-level interfaces.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, low-level debugging, and writing maintainable embedded code for safety-critical environments; evidence of shipping real-time-critical products.

Nice to have

  • Embedded Linux, BSP development, or Linux kernel programming.
  • Experience with GMSL2 and MIPI-CSI2 camera drivers (V4L2), FOC for BLDC drives, or Yocto Project / Bitbake.
