About the job
Prepares and packages non-sterile compounded medications while maintaining safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance at Ro’s Romeoville facility.
What you'll do
- Prepare, measure, mix, label, and package compounded prescriptions in accordance with USP standards and company procedures.
- Follow gowning, PPE, hazardous-material handling, cleaning, and documentation protocols.
- Support inventory and supply handling, and work with pharmacists and technicians to resolve production or fulfillment issues.
What they ask for
- Active Pharmacy Technician License in Illinois.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in non-sterile and/or sterile compounding.
- Ability to work on site 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday plus rotating weekends; familiarity with USP <795>, <800>, hazardous-material safety, gowning, and PPE.
Nice to have
- PTCB certification is preferred or required (posting wording is ambiguous).
Pay
$23 to $30 USD per hour (target hourly rate; base salary/hourly pay).
