Plans and leads red-team assessments and adversarial simulations to identify security risks, improve defenses, and support remediation across Robinhood’s applications, infrastructure, and corporate environments.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute red-team exercises, threat modeling, and penetration testing across applications, infrastructure, and corporate environments.
- Develop testing scripts and tools, partner with detection and response teams, and help engineering teams remediate findings.
- Communicate findings and projects across the company, mentor security engineers, and lead security incidents arising from testing.
What they ask for
- 6+ years conducting red-team operations or advanced penetration testing.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other security engineers.
- Experience with macOS and Linux, and with attacking and hardening software stacks involving CI, Kubernetes/Docker, or cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
- Familiarity with DNS and TCP/IP; knowledge of defensive security tools and techniques, MITRE ATT&CK, and access and identity security; comfortable reading and writing Python, Go, and JavaScript.

Pay
USD 187,000–USD 220,000 base salary; USD 165,000–USD 194,000 base salary; USD 146,000–USD 172,000 base salary
