What you'll do

  • Architect and optimize pipelines for large volumes of 3D assets, including meshes, textures, rigs, and animations.
  • Develop graphics-based methods to detect geometry exploits, rendering hacks, and visual artifacts, and to improve asset quality.
  • Collaborate with machine learning, engine, and product teams to integrate asset processing into the avatar ecosystem.

What they ask for

  • Exceptional mastery of 3D math and deep familiarity with 3D graphics concepts, including rendering pipelines, shading, and lighting.
  • Hands-on experience manipulating, analyzing, and optimizing 3D data, including meshes, topology, UVs, and vertex structures.
  • Solid understanding of 3D animation, rigging, skinning weights, and skeletal hierarchies.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Luau, Python, or similar production languages, with experience optimizing systems, data pipelines, and scalable software.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing or optimizing runtime game engine features; automated 3D asset optimization or procedural geometry.
  • Familiarity with applying machine learning algorithms to 3D asset processing.

Pay

$196,750 — $243,290 USD (base salary)
