About the job
Own the robot arm autonomy stack, developing motion planning, interaction control, and teleoperation capabilities for safe manipulation in industrial environments.
What you'll do
- Architect real-time motion planners and trajectories for arm and whole-body motion.
- Develop force-feedback impedance/admittance control for safe physical interaction.
- Build teleoperation control mapping and assistance layers for feasible, stable remote manipulation.
What they ask for
- Deep understanding of rigid-body kinematics, dynamics, 3D geometry, linear algebra, and Lie theory.
- Production-grade real-time C++ expertise, including C++17/20.
- Experience with motion-planning libraries such as OMPL, MoveIt, or TrajOpt.
- Practical experience implementing PID, Impedance Control, or MPC on real hardware.
Nice to have
- Experience with physics simulation, trajectory-optimization solvers, or industrial communication buses and motor drives.
- Interest or experience in Reinforcement Learning (RL) or Learning from Demonstration (LfD) for manipulation tasks.
