What you'll do

  • Create verification plans, tests, testbench components, checkers, scoreboards, and reference models for CPU blocks and subsystems.
  • Run regressions and close functional and code coverage; debug failures with RTL designers and track verification progress.
  • Apply formal verification, assertions, emulation, and ISA reference-model co-simulation where appropriate.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or near-term graduation) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong computer architecture and digital-design foundation, including at least two specified CPU topics.
  • Scripting experience for automation, test generation, regression management, or data analysis.

Nice to have

  • UVM testbench experience.
  • Familiarity with processor verification, including modern ISAs, out-of-order execution, memory ordering, cache coherency, or virtual memory.
