Director, Security

What you'll do

• Set security strategy and lead Cloud Security, Application Security, SecOps, and GRC, including hiring and developing the team.
• Drive compliance programs, secure product development, security automation, threat detection, and incident response.
• Oversee infrastructure security and vendor risk, and represent security in customer and cross-functional leadership discussions.

What they ask for

• 7+ years leading security teams, including managers and/or multiple squads, with a record of securing high-scale cloud platforms or infrastructure products.
• 8+ years building and securing SaaS, platforms, or IaaS products; deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Linux OS security, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience building culture, accountability, and momentum across distributed teams; ability to develop and execute security programs and use operational metrics.
• Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills; successful completion of a background check.

Nice to have

• Experience securing cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, distributed compute, or bare-metal environments; expertise in AI/ML security challenges.
• Experience scaling security teams and compliance programs in high-growth startups; open-source security contributions or recognized security research.

Pay

($200,000 - $300,000) USD base salary; $1,200 USD stipend (not specified as base salary or total pay)
