Knowledge Routing Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop models and learned decision trees to route patient queries and symptoms, including urgency classification and follow-up question selection.
• Work with medical professionals to encode generalizable clinical knowledge, using protocols and triage procedures.
• Train and improve self-learning models from user data and diagnoses, establishing quality metrics.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of ML engineering experience
• Experience with foundational ML models, such as learned decision trees, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
• Strong backend engineering skills and systems thinking
• Experience solving ambiguous problems from first principles and turning research or novel techniques into testable prototypes

Nice to have

• Experience with evaluation frameworks and model quality measurement
• Experience with medical AI systems or human-in-the-loop workflows for machine learning

Pay

$175K – $210K (base salary)
