About the job
Build and operate Salient’s security program, including compliance, security testing, access and vulnerability management, incident response, and automation.
What you'll do
- Own operating procedures for SOC 2, PCI, enterprise questionnaires, and bank-specific security requirements.
- Test security boundaries and manage access anomalies, IAM/PAM controls, network and vulnerability findings.
- Develop incident runbooks, detections, and automated security controls and evidence workflows.
What they ask for
- Write production-quality code and build tested tooling and automation.
- Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure and IAM/PAM, including investigating suspicious access.
- Own outcomes end to end, ship weekly with a small team, and make decisions with incomplete information.
- Prioritize by risk and explain security tradeoffs to leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience operating SOC 2, PCI, or bank security controls and producing audit evidence.
- Experience with detection engineering, incident response, vulnerability management, or AI system threat modeling.
