Principal Product Engineer

What you'll do

• Coordinate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing, quality, and field issues and execute production builds.
• Drive design for manufacturability, factory readiness, test strategy, reliability validation, yield improvement, and supply-chain optimization.
• Manage sustaining engineering, including BOM accuracy, engineering changes, supplier PCNs, documentation, and qualification of component or process changes.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in new product introduction, manufacturing engineering, or hardware development.
• Experience supporting products from prototype through high-volume manufacturing; expertise in PCB design considerations for DFM, DFT, and DFA.
• Experience with hardware failure analysis and root-cause/corrective actions; familiarity with manufacturing test development, yield analysis, reliability validation, and PLM systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 10 years at a company developing supply chains, manufacturing, and testing for new IT server and storage products.
• Experience in data analytics and quality data systems, manufacturing automation, AI/GenAI for process efficiency, or manufacturing test systems.

Pay

$180,000 — $255,000 USD (base salary)
