Senior Principal AI Solutions Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and build agentic systems, self-improving evaluation loops, and multimodal or voice applications; optimize open-model use and performance.
• Lead customer engagements from discovery and prototypes through production, advise executives, and publish reusable reference architectures and tools.
• Set technical direction for the solutions portfolio, mentor engineers, and feed customer and platform needs back to Product and Engineering.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years (IC5) or 10+ years (IC6) of industry experience in software, ML, or solutions engineering, including 3+ years building LLM-based applications that reached production.
• Proven agentic-systems experience; hands-on open-weight model serving, prompting, fine-tuning, and evaluation; expert Python and modern front-end skills, APIs, and cloud deployment.
• Experience designing LLM application evaluations and benchmarks; strong customer communication and a track record of technical leadership, mentoring, and owning strategic-account outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with self-improving systems, real-time voice agents, multimodal models, or document-understanding pipelines.
• Familiarity with inference frameworks, enterprise-scale RAG, MCP, agent security and guardrails, or open-source AI contributions.

$234,000 — $286,000 USD base salary
