Leads industrial design and engineering of Samsara hardware products from concept through mass production, balancing customer needs, manufacturability, cost, schedule, and product quality.
What you'll do
- Set multi-year hardware technical vision and architecture, and define product specifications and system tradeoffs with cross-functional teams.
- Drive product development from feasibility and prototyping through validation, mass production, and go-to-market.
- Own customer hardware experience, including industrial design, packaging, installation, testing, and coordination with manufacturing partners.

- Experience launching electromechanical products or components in mass production and designing automotive, outdoor, industrial, or consumer products.
- Proficiency in plastic/metal part design, CAD modeling, and drafting; preferably using NX.

Pay
$220,000 — $275,000 USD annual base salary
