Maintains and improves wafer fabrication equipment and processes to support production, yield enhancement, and cost reduction.
What you'll do
- Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, qualify new equipment, and coordinate qualification schedules and downtime.
- Analyze process data, adjust equipment parameters, monitor tools after maintenance, and implement process or equipment changes.
- Revise SOPs, develop process improvements, communicate technical information, and pursue cost-reduction projects.
What they ask for
- BS or MS in a listed engineering or scientific field (new graduates need a 3.0 GPA or better).
- Scripting experience in Python, VBA, or an equivalent language; understanding of statistical methods.
- Change Point Management experience and understanding of Lean, TPS, or 5S; structured problem-solving skills.
- Equipment or process troubleshooting experience; ability to work in a clean-room environment and support shifts in 24x7 manufacturing.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analysis software such as Spotfire, JMP, or Matlab.
