About the job
Conducts fire safety inspections, maintains fire protection systems, investigates fire risks, and develops plans and training to help protect employees and facilities.
What you'll do
- Inspect and test fire protection equipment, alarms, buildings, and potential hazards; investigate fires and report findings.
- Develop and implement evacuation and fire safety plans, and train employees on procedures.
- Coordinate with fire departments and work with architects and engineers on code compliance and fire-safe buildings.
