About the job

Develop and improve a simulation tool that models power consumption and heat in AI memory systems, supporting research and product teams.

What you'll do

  • Build automation pipelines for simulation runs, regression testing, and result tracking; manage simulation data flows.
  • Implement and optimize trace-driven power-thermal simulation engines, including hotspot analysis and thermal-solver interfaces.
  • Develop, calibrate, validate, and integrate power macromodels for AI memory components into system-level simulations.

What they ask for

  • Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related major.
  • Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining.
  • C++, scripting workflows in Python or Bash, and SystemC and/or transaction-level modeling.
  • Systems-level software-engineering skills.

Nice to have

  • RTL design, synthesis and analysis research and/or experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/SystemC).
  • Experience with large-scale simulation or EDA/CFD-adjacent tooling environments; discrete event or time-stepped simulation; or GPU, computer architecture, AI memory, memory controllers, PHYs, or high-speed I/O.
