About the job

Develops and scales trace-driven power and thermal simulation software, integrating power models, workload traces, and thermal solvers.

What you'll do

  • Implement and optimize trace-driven power and thermal simulation engines, including system-level integration of IP-level power macromodels.
  • Manage time-indexed simulation across power and thermal domains; generate transient power maps and analyze spatiotemporal hotspots.
  • Interface with reduced-order thermal models and CFD-calibrated solvers, while ensuring performance, scalability, and reproducibility.

What they ask for

  • Strong C++ software-engineering background.
  • Experience building or extending simulation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with discrete-event or time-stepped simulation architectures.
  • Solid software-design, debugging, and performance-optimization skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with time-indexed and event-driven simulation.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods or reduced-order modeling; exposure to data-pipeline integration.
