Supports machinists and the fabrication team by preparing materials, processing and handling parts, operating basic shop equipment, and maintaining an organized, safe work area.
What you'll do
- Prepare and secure raw materials, stage tooling, assist with machine loading and unloading, and operate saws and raw-material processing equipment.
- Hand-deburr, clean, stack, and expedite finished parts; verify bundle and unit counts and report them to a supervisor.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and quality standards, and participate in crew meetings and team problem solving.
