About the job
Designs, integrates, and validates ruggedized power systems for autonomous maritime platforms, including supporting testing and field commissioning.
What you'll do
- Lead design, specification, and validation of power generation, distribution, and conversion systems; document requirements and create engineering drawings and analyses.
- Select components and develop system architectures, trade studies, and detailed design and test documentation.
- Support prototype builds, troubleshooting, lab and field testing, dockside and at-sea trials, and mentor junior engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience designing marine, defense, automotive, aerospace, or mining vehicles.
- Familiarity with AC power distribution, power controls, fieldbus protocols, reliability analysis, electrical safety standards, or autonomous systems.
