Manager, Data Platform - AI Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers; set team goals and guide technical growth and delivery.
• Architect and support scalable data platforms, pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, governance, security, and operational readiness.
• Lead AI and Generative AI solution development, assess emerging technologies, and collaborate on enterprise standards and architectures.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and Agile delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise data solutions; experience leading Data Engineering and AI Engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI platforms and tools such as Databricks Data/AI Platform, Open WebUI, n8n, Pinecone, LangChain, and LangGraph.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, Monitoring and Observability Platforms (Data dog), RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Vector Databases, and LLMs.

Pay

$160,000.00 - $192,500.00 USD base salary
