Leads Purchasing planning and execution for new vehicle projects, coordinating teams, budgets, suppliers, and launch deliverables throughout the vehicle development process.
What you'll do
- Represent Purchasing in vehicle project committees and meetings, ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met.
- Manage project material-cost, tooling-investment, and launch-cost budgets, including benchmarking, target setting, and approval presentations.
- Lead cross-functional forward sourcing and project teams, coordinate supplier deadlines, and track parts status and cost-saving initiatives.
