What you'll do
- Manage daily customs obligations and classify import and export items accurately.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and freight forwarders on customs entries and clearance issues; audit entries and report findings.
- Monitor customs regulations and compliance risks, and help implement policies, procedures, and corrective actions.
What they ask for
- Knowledge of U.S., Canada, and Mexico import/export regulations relating to CBP and other Participating Government Agencies.
- Proficiency in HTSUS classification and experience in trade compliance areas such as country of origin, free trade agreements, foreign trade zones, and valuation.
- Familiarity with ACE for imports and exports; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- U.S. Customs Brokers License and/or Certified Customs/Export Specialist; knowledge of logistics operations.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in International Business or a related field; SAP® and ONESOURCE™ experience.
Pay
$90,000.00 - $112,500.00 USD base salary
