Develop and execute sourcing strategies for interior commodities, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing supplier readiness and performance through pre-production and production launch.
What you'll do
- Select and evaluate suppliers; lead sourcing strategy and processes through contract award and prepare contractual and nomination documents.
- Manage supplier industrialization and pre-production program requirements for timing, cost, and quality; coordinate mass-production readiness with Quality, Engineering, and Logistics.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, and assess technical changes to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
