Staff Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and deliver AI systems, including LLM integrations, agent workflows, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation and monitoring practices.
• Develop and support ServiceNow applications, integrations, workflows, and production services; troubleshoot customer and system issues.
• Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 6+ years with a Master's degree; OR 3+ years with a PhD; OR equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years working with modern cloud-native and AI-native systems; 3+ years with LLM prompt engineering, agent design, and retrieval systems; 3+ years integrating third-party AI/ML services and platform APIs; 2+ years developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/GlideScript, Python, and Java, with knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, data models, workflows, and APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and managed AI services, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, AI evaluation, and scalable data pipelines, embedding systems, and vector stores.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing experience.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
