About the job

Build and lead the simulation platform used to test, train, and evaluate autonomous aircraft systems at scale.

What you'll do

  • Integrate and develop simulators and standards; build reusable Monte Carlo infrastructure for large simulation campaigns.
  • Develop multithreaded and multiprocess real-time simulation capabilities, and validate performance using physics models.
  • Set technical direction, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and work with autonomy, GNC, RTA, and field teams.

What they ask for

  • Strong proficiency in C++ and experience maintaining production performance-critical software.
  • Experience building and running multithreaded or multiprocess real-time aircraft-dynamics simulations.
  • Experience developing Monte Carlo infrastructure and using it to design, execute, and analyze simulation campaigns.
  • Experience with software or simulation under a defined V&V lifecycle; demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Airworthiness certification or safety assessment experience; Python skills for simulation tooling and analysis.

Tools
