About the job
Provides product, privacy, data governance, AI, and regulatory legal counsel throughout ShopMy’s product development lifecycle and as the company scales globally.
What you'll do
- Advise Product and Engineering on legal risks for products, features, and business initiatives.
- Lead data governance and advise on privacy-law compliance, AI policies, product marketing, and public-facing documents.
- Develop scalable compliance frameworks, policies, and training; monitor emerging regulatory risks.

- J.D. from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and good-standing membership in at least one state bar.
- Deep working knowledge of U.S. and international privacy and data protection laws, including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
- Experience advising on AI, machine learning, or automated decision-making from a legal and compliance perspective.
- Strong product-lifecycle counseling and communication skills, including translating complex legal requirements into practical guidance.

$180,000 — $230,000 USD (base salary)
