Strategist Lead, Agent Development

What you'll do

• Lead agent development from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and ongoing production iteration; coach strategists and ensure delivery quality and customer impact.
• Sponsor key customer deployments, manage and grow the strategist team, and advise enterprise leaders on AI strategy and business outcomes.
• Use customer needs to inform Sierra’s product direction, collaborating with research, product, and platform teams.

• Strong customer-facing relationship-building, communication, analytical problem-solving, and technical aptitude.
• Track record of running and leading teams running multiple complex, high-visibility projects and delivering outcomes.
• Hands-on leadership style with high standards and empathy.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, and/or an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business.

Nice to have

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, including familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, or prompt engineering.
• Background as a founder, product or strategy leader, startup operator, or experience managing teams in customer-facing roles.

USD $200K – $350K base salary
