Founding ML / RL Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, train, and ship imitation-learning and reinforcement-learning robot policies.
• Own data pipelines, distributed training infrastructure, evaluation, and sim-to-real transfer.
• Deploy and monitor policies on robots, including release traceability and failure diagnostics.

What they ask for

• 2+ years of experience training and shipping machine learning models; engineering clubs and commercial or research internships count.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch (or JAX).
• Grounding in reinforcement learning and imitation learning, including policy gradients, actor-critic methods, and behavior cloning.
• Experience building learning data pipelines; comfort with Linux and a job scheduler such as Slurm or similar.

Nice to have

• Experience with contact-rich manipulation, dexterous control, or mobile manipulation on real hardware.
• Experience with modern robot-learning architectures, model-based RL, sim-to-real transfer, or large-scale training.

Pay

$125,000 – $250,000 USD base salary
