About the job
Leads architecture, reliability, and automation for SingleStore’s cloud and internal network infrastructure, while supporting incident response and platform-wide technical decisions.
What you'll do
- Define cloud networking architecture and standards across cloud providers and internal infrastructure; develop reusable infrastructure automation.
- Establish reliability practices for network services and lead incident diagnosis, mitigation, and permanent remediation.
- Partner across engineering and security teams, provide senior technical escalation, and mentor engineers.
What they ask for
- Deep experience designing and operating production cloud networks in at least one major cloud provider, with meaningful experience in a second.
- Strong networking expertise and experience troubleshooting complex production network and infrastructure failures.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, or comparable infrastructure-as-code technologies, and automation using Python, Go, or a comparable language.
- Strong SRE experience; experience operating Kubernetes or adjacent cloud-platform infrastructure; ability to lead architecture decisions across organizations.
Nice to have
- Experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with cloud-network technologies, hybrid networking, private-access tools, IPAM/DCIM, Kubernetes networking, observability, identity, or policy-as-code.
Pay
$140,000 - $215,000 USD per year (total salary range; Boston, Chicago, New York, Austin, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle, Washington, or Dallas)
