Owns end-to-end product quality from concept through launch and handoff, combining design-phase prevention with new product introduction build quality.
What you'll do
- Set quality targets and plans, classify BOM risk, and facilitate DFMEA/PFMEA and design reviews.
- Qualify suppliers and measurement systems; oversee EVT, DVT, and PVT build quality, capability studies, PPAP, and SPC.
- Manage launch quality through safe-launch plans, daily reviews, 8D investigations, field AFR monitoring, and handoff to sustaining quality.
