About the job
Leads mechanical engineering teams in developing Skydio’s F10 winged drone and ground systems from concept through mass production.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical development and delivery of the winged vehicle, dock, and related systems, coordinating cross-functional teams from prototype to production.
- Guide mechanical architecture, design, analysis, testing, and technical decisions, including system trade-offs and failure investigation.
- Oversee vendor technical work and support manufacturing with assembly processes, quality criteria, and inspection requirements.

- Experience in aerospace or aviation design and solving mechanical, thermal, and systems-integration challenges.
- Mastery of 3D CAD for complex assemblies; ability to produce mechanical part and assembly drawings.
