About the job
Design, advise on, and build security systems and tooling that protect Skydio’s cloud and corporate environments and its commercial, government, and DoD customers.
What you'll do
- Review RFCs and guide engineering teams on security-sensitive architecture decisions.
- Build internal security systems and tooling, and harden production software.
- Improve vulnerability monitoring and response, contribute to authentication and identity systems, and participate in the security on-call rotation.
What they ask for
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security, platform security, infrastructure security, or a related security-focused engineering role.
- Strong experience working in AWS, ideally in multi-tenant cloud environments.
- Strong coding ability and comfort building and maintaining tooling in languages such as Python or Go.
- Experience reviewing system designs and RFCs and providing actionable security guidance; working knowledge of SIEM and vulnerability management tooling.
Nice to have
- Experience in FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, Texas RAMP, or CJIS-aligned environments.

Pay
$220,000 - $270,000 USD annual base salary
