VP, Head of Forward Deployed Engineering

What you'll do

• Set the organization’s vision, operating model, hiring plans, and engineering standards; coach engineering managers and technical leads.
• Drive reusable solutions with Platform Engineering and own dataset delivery sign-off, customer requirement verification, and pipeline quality.
• Oversee pipeline architecture, cost, throughput, latency, capacity planning, and delivery commitments.

What they ask for

• 10+ years in software or ML engineering, including 5+ years leading multiple teams as a manager of managers.
• Experience scaling an engineering organization of approximately 100 engineers and aligning team planning and strategy with company needs.
• Experience building and shipping AI/ML systems to production, including automated verification; direct experience with LLM application stacks, agents, orchestration, and LLM-based pipelines.
• Track record of hiring and scaling engineering teams through hypergrowth; strong customer accountability and technical fluency in architecture reviews.

Nice to have

• Background in ML infrastructure or data platforms.

Pay

$268,800 — $403,000 USD (base salary)
