Defines and drives the architecture of Snowflake’s OLTP systems, building scalable transactional databases and infrastructure for applications and agent-driven workloads.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and technical decisions across database internals, storage, compute, transactions, replication, and recovery.
- Design isolated, elastic transactional environments and safe, governed ways for agents to read and modify operational state.
- Lead cross-team engineering efforts, set technical direction, and mentor engineers.
