Staff Data Scientist, DocV

What you'll do

• Direct document verification ML work and oversee the end-to-end model lifecycle.
• Mentor data scientists, set technical standards, and address modeling and production risks.
• Partner with engineering, product, and customers to shape solutions and communicate model performance and limitations.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in computer vision and machine learning; proven experience designing, deploying, and improving production ML systems at scale.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple ML projects, including mentoring experienced data scientists.
• Strong understanding of the full ML lifecycle and strong technical judgment in complex, ambiguous problems.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field.
• Experience with document verification, OCR, identity, fraud detection, image forensics, transformer-based vision models, multimodal systems, foundation models, LLMs, enterprise customers, or regulated environments.

Pay

$191K – $230K USD base salary
