Build and lead Sphere Labs’ compliance program for crypto-native cross-border payments, embedding compliance into operations and new products.
What you'll do
- Mature the compliance program, assess geographic risks, and develop actionable SOPs and controls for new business lines.
- Manage daily compliance operations, including transaction-monitoring alert reviews, investigations, SAR filings, complaints, and law-enforcement requests.
- Partner with Risk, Product, Operations, and Sales on system controls and customer onboarding; train and mentor compliance team members.
What they ask for
- Experience building or significantly maturing a compliance program, ideally in crypto, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience managing a scaled compliance program, including nested or multi-layer onboarding involving integrators or partners.
- Hands-on knowledge of AML, KYC, and KYB frameworks and regulatory requirements; direct transaction-monitoring and alert-disposition experience.
- Experience conducting investigations and filing SARs.

USD 180,000–220,000 (per-year-salary)
