About the job
Build and scale Sphere’s backend infrastructure to improve system performance, availability, and latency for global compliance transactions.
What you'll do
- Solve scaling, performance, and latency problems; participate in the on-call rotation for critical production events.
- Work with engineers and customers to define tooling and address latency and availability needs.
- Influence and implement database, real-time queue, and container orchestration infrastructure; develop Terraform abstractions and cloud-native practices.

- Extensive experience designing and shipping high-quality architectures for mission-critical systems, including high availability, high load, and low latency.
