About the job

Create technical content, reference pipelines, benchmarks, and developer-experience improvements that help ML researchers and training engineers use Spiral’s analytical database for data-intensive workflows.

What you'll do

  • Write technical cookbooks and end-to-end examples, and build and maintain reference pipelines using real datasets.
  • Produce benchmarks and writeups; turn developer feedback into product, SDK, and documentation improvements.
  • Answer user questions, represent Spiral at conferences, and occasionally give talks or workshops.

What they ask for

  • Hands-on ML or training-infrastructure experience, including familiarity with data-loading, video-decoding, or GPU-utilization challenges.
  • Strong technical writing, with examples of published work.
  • Fluency in Python and comfort with the PyTorch, Hugging Face, and data-pipeline ecosystem.
  • Working understanding of GPUs, training loops, and performance bottlenecks; connections in developer or AI communities.

Nice to have

  • Relevant open-source contributions or experience with columnar or analytical data formats.
  • Prior DevRel, AI research, or research-engineering experience; an existing ML practitioner audience is secondary.
