About the job

Build and deploy optimization, forecasting, and decision systems to match clinicians with patients and improve home-care logistics.

What you'll do

  • Formulate operational problems and develop optimization, forecasting, or simulation solutions.
  • Evaluate models through offline analysis, backtests, and live experiments, measuring operational impact.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, product, and leadership to deploy systems and communicate tradeoffs.

What they ask for

  • Strong foundations in operations research or optimization, including modeling, algorithms, experimental design, and evaluation.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, familiarity with standard optimization and ML libraries, and ability to run experiments end to end.
  • Fluency with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor in daily development.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into well-posed optimization or forecasting tasks and account for uncertainty and operational constraints.

Nice to have

  • Depth in vehicle routing, scheduling, stochastic optimization, simulation, queueing, or demand forecasting.
  • Experience shipping production optimization or decision systems, or working with supply-and-demand matching in marketplace, dispatch, or field operations.
