Staff Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end quality strategy, release readiness, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems, including LLM output, agent behaviour, regression, and safety testing.
• Build scalable automated test suites and tooling across functional, API, integration, UI, and regression testing, integrated into CI/CD; establish quality metrics and benchmarks.
• Mentor quality engineers and partner across teams on testing practices, technical planning, architecture, and quality improvements.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of hands-on software quality and test automation experience, including setting technical direction on complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with API and UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Junit.
• Fluency in at least one of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java; experience testing AI/agentic systems and using AI to scale automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and scalable web API/backend system design; strong QA methodology and cross-functional coaching skills.

Pay

$134,400 — $184,800 CAD (base salary); $136,000 — $187,000 USD (base salary)
