Leads grassroots organizing in Manassas, Northern Virginia, and Prince William County by recruiting and developing volunteers, building local partnerships, and running outreach and canvassing efforts.
What you'll do
- Recruit, train, and grow an active volunteer base; build relationships with community leaders, advocacy groups, and local influencers.
- Supervise and coach part-time canvassers and, where applicable, Grassroots Coordinators; represent AFP and communicate its policy positions.
- Plan and run outreach, canvassing, phone, digital, events, and coalition-building, while managing regional budgets, equipment, expenses, and compliance.
