About the job
Leads grassroots organizing in the Virginia Beach area by recruiting and developing volunteers, building local relationships, supervising canvassers, and running outreach to expand AFP’s presence.
What you'll do
- Recruit, train, and grow a volunteer base; build relationships with community leaders and advocacy groups.
- Supervise part-time canvassing contractors and applicable Grassroots Coordinators, including training and performance coaching.
- Plan and run outreach, represent AFP publicly, and manage regional budgets, equipment, expenses, and legal compliance.
