AI Applications Engineer (Glen Cove, NY)

What you'll do

• Identify customer use cases for AI, develop proofs of concept, and create documentation and integration guides.
• Travel to customer sites to install, integrate, test, and commission robotic cells; troubleshoot until operational.
• Train customers, provide post-install technical support, and share deployment feedback with engineering and product teams.

What they ask for

• Robot programming proficiency or adjacent software experience; ability to write Python without an AI agent.
• Prior hands-on robotics experience.
• Surface-level fluency with machine-learning techniques, including convolutional neural networks, object detection, and visual language models.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% and experience in at least one specialization: mechanical design, electrical design, or machine vision.

Nice to have

• Experience with collaborative robots, production or lab vision systems, ROS or other robotics middleware, or manufacturing/industrial automation.
• Startup experience.

Pay

$120,000 to $150,000 USD base salary; $120K – $150K (base salary)
