Inspects electronic assemblies, PCBAs, cables, and harnesses to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment, while guiding inspection practices and handling nonconformances.
What you'll do
- Inspect electronic assemblies, PCBAs, cables, and harnesses against applicable IPC standards and lead First Article Inspections.
- Mentor Receiving Inspectors and maintain electronic inspection records and traceability.
- Review drawings for inspectability, participate in Material Review Board decisions, and support 6S and FOD programs.
What they ask for
- Current IPC-A-610 CIS or CIT certification.
- Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS or CIT certification.
- Solid ESD knowledge and hands-on experience running or supporting an ESD program.
- Fluent ability to read schematics and electronic assembly drawings.
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial robotics control electronics, motor drives, or sensor systems.
- Hands-on experience with microscopy and other visual inspection equipment.
Pay
$34-40/hour (base salary); $34 – $40 per hour (base salary)
