Design and guide implementation of secure, scalable AWS GovCloud architecture for a mission-critical Defense Aviation platform.
What you'll do
- Create architecture diagrams, design documentation, technical decision records, and standards for cloud services and infrastructure.
- Embed security and compliance into designs, and align solutions with DoD and DISA requirements and authorization processes.
- Set IaC and CI/CD standards, prototype solutions, and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams through delivery and design reviews.
What they ask for
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
- Deep expertise designing AWS solutions across compute, networking, storage, and IAM, including AWS Well-Architected and secure cloud design patterns.
- Experience with IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation and implementing CI/CD at scale.
- Strong cloud security and network segmentation knowledge, plus ability to document architecture and lead technical delivery.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS GovCloud or federal or highly regulated environments; familiarity with DoD/DISA compliance, STIG hardening, and ATO processes.
- Experience with Medallion data architecture, containers, hybrid networking and DNS, or aviation, defense, logistics, or fleet systems; AWS Professional-level certification.

USD 165,000–180,000 per year base salary
