Supports Stripe’s equity programs and financial reporting by applying U.S. GAAP, improving accounting processes and controls, and partnering across teams.
What you'll do
- Manage monthly and quarterly close activities and reporting focused on equity and stock-based compensation.
- Research and document technical accounting issues, especially Equity (ASC 505) and Stock Based Compensation (ASC 718).
- Improve accounting processes and automation, including use of artificial intelligence, and support audits and internal controls.
What they ask for
- 7+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience.
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Fluency in U.S. GAAP and ability to research complex accounting issues.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with cross-functional stakeholders and internal controls.
Nice to have
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience in the technology or payments industry; experience with Oracle, Shareworks, and/or Workiva.
