Develop and maintain indoor SLAM capabilities that help a home robot navigate safely in complex, dynamic environments.
What you'll do
- Build an indoor SLAM system that fuses LiDAR, Camera, IMU, and odometry data.
- Develop software pipelines and processes for multi-sensor calibration.
- Collaborate with perception and motion-planning engineers on indoor navigation and collision avoidance.
What they ask for
- Experience with vision-only or lidar-based SLAM pipelines.
- Deep understanding of spatial math, including 3D rotation representations, frame transformations, and camera projections.
- Familiarity with multi-sensor time-synchronization methods.
