About the job

Conduct and implement ML research, validate ideas through experiments and data work, and turn research directions into customer or publication-ready outputs.

What you'll do

  • Find relevant research, benchmarks, and prior work; implement methods and reproduce or improve results.
  • Scope and own research projects end to end, including MVPs, evaluation, and data sourcing or annotation.
  • Translate research into customer datasets, pilots, internal datasets, or publications, and assess technical feasibility of new opportunities.

What they ask for

  • MS or PhD in ML, CS, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated research experience.
  • Strong ML understanding, including model training and evaluation, paper assessment, and method reimplementation.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of RL/agentic systems, AI/ML evaluation and benchmarking, or multimodal ML.
  • Strong Python and ability to build and ship experiments, evaluation harnesses, environments, or infrastructure independently.

Nice to have

  • Publication track record; first-author preferred.
  • Experience with agent or multimodal benchmarks, RL environments, reward modeling, synthetic data, HITL workflows, or cloud and containerized environments.
