About the job
Build and lead Swarm Aero’s quality engineering function and systems to support repeatable, high-rate aircraft manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Build the quality engineering team and define how quality supports production.
- Implement the quality management system and lead ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification.
- Establish quality processes across production and suppliers, including inspections, corrective actions, and use of production data to improve outcomes.
What they ask for
- Quality engineering experience in aerospace, automotive, composites, or another complex hardware manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience establishing facility certifications such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or Nadcap.
- Experience with composite materials and processes, including inspection methods.
- Experience building and leading a quality engineering team; working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis, and first article inspection.
Nice to have
- Experience establishing quality for a new facility or greenfield production line, scaling composite production, or working with a growing multi-tier supplier base.
- ASQ certification (CQE or CMQ/OE).

$115K – $165K USD base salary
