Build and scale backend systems, APIs, telemetry pipelines, and cloud infrastructure that manage and monitor Taara’s global network of wireless optical terminals.
What you'll do
- Design and implement the cloud-native control plane for global optical terminals and build real-time telemetry ingestion and processing systems.
- Define secure, efficient communications between hardware and cloud, and lead the Infrastructure as Code strategy for reliable deployments.
- Develop observability tools and dashboards so the Network Operations Center can troubleshoot optical links.
What they ask for
- 4+ years building and deploying scalable services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, Typescript, and/or Python; experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems architecture.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs (gRPC, REST), plus relational databases, NoSQL, timeseries databases, and message brokers.
- Cloud security experience, including least privilege, IAM roles/policies, and public key cryptography; able to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Interest or experience in Angular/React/TypeScript, networking, or cloud services interacting with physical IoT or networking hardware.
Pay
USD $160,000-$210,000 base salary
