Coordinates daily trailer movement and yard safety at a Target distribution center, maintaining trailer records, equipment accountability, and timely releases.
What you'll do
- Execute daily trailer movements and yard audits, including operating Target vehicles and updating the yard management system.
- Enforce safety expectations with carriers, identify unsafe acts, and communicate trailer needs and progress to distribution center executives.
- Monitor trailer releases, inventories, maintenance availability, trailer pools, and freight flow to keep yards safe and within threshold.
